Sweets made from baby formula with coconut and waffles are a simple homemade dessert made from inexpensive and affordable ingredients. Homemade sweets are tastier than store sweets, even if they do not have chocolate, of course, we do not take into account the elite brands of chocolate masters.
The recipe for these sweets was invented during the time of a total shortage of products, when it was impossible to find delicacies on store shelves during the day with fire. Cocoa, infant formula, sugar and butter - the main ingredients of the recipe from the shelves practically did not disappear, but not everyone knew how to combine them competently. The hostesses handed each other a home recipe, added something of their own to it, fantasized, as a result, they obtained delicious sweets that could be simply prepared in half an hour.

Ingredients for Baby Mix Sweets
- 100 g of infant formula;
- 100 ml of milk;
- 70 g of butter;
- 60 g of sugar;
- 40 g of chocolate glaze (granules);
- 25 g of cocoa powder;
- 35 g coconut flakes;
- a pinch of salt;
- 35 ml of rum;
- vanilla extract;
- unsweetened wafers, coconut flakes, cocoa for sprinkling.
A method of preparing delicious sweets from a baby mixture with coconut and waffles
Place butter and milk in a pan. Heat on a low heat almost to a boil, stir with a whisk until the oil is completely dissolved.
Add granulated sugar, a drop of vanilla extract or a bag of vanilla sugar, pour a pinch of salt to balance the taste.
Bring the mixture to a boil, mix until the sugar completely dissolves the sand.
Pour cocoa powder into a pan with hot milk, mix with a whisk, heat again to a boil.
Remove the pan from the stove, pour the chocolate icing into the pan, pour the rum, mix everything thoroughly.
Add the dry milk mixture. Any mixture with a neutral taste without additives is suitable - “Baby”, “Baby” or something similar, in our time these products are abundant.
Take a mixer, beat the ingredients for about 5 minutes. You can also manually mix these products, but there will be a lot of milk lumps, you have to grind them, so it’s better to beat them with a mixer - you get a smooth and uniform mass.
Add coconut flakes, mix, remove the candy paste in the refrigerator for 1 hour. During this time, the mass will cool and thicken.
In the meantime, prepare a few sprinkles. We crumble dry unsweetened wafers of different colors in one plate. Pour coconut into another, cocoa powder into the third.
Put a teaspoon of candy paste in plates with different sprinkles, then roll the balls with cold hands. Roll off the finished balls in addition to sprinkles to make the candy shell dense.
Ready-made sweets from the baby mixture are placed in paper molds, put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that they freeze well.
