Lemon plants
I think everyone knows about the bounty of our land. But if it is unlikely that you will be able to enjoy the fruits of lemon from your own plot in the near future (since, unfortunately, there are still no such varieties), then you can enjoy healing teas with lemon aroma all year round by planting perennial plants on the garden Melissa officinalis, real catnip and annual Moldavian snakehead.

Melissa will help to improve well-being with general nervous excitement, vegetative-vascular dystonia, heart rhythm disturbance, as well as with sharp pressure surges when the emotional state changes. Melissa tones the work of the brain, heart and digestive organs. This plant is used in a variety of collections - for example, with mint, gisop, chamomile, valerian, lavender and hawthorn. In addition, a salad is prepared from its young leaves. It is also used for external use - bathtubs, compresses, masks.

If the list of medicinal properties of "lemon substitutes" convinced you to plant these plants in your garden, then you must also learn to distinguish them. The fact is that they are often confused, and not only because of a similar smell. All of them belong to the same family - Labiate, have similar seeds, leaves and flowers. To avoid mistakes, remember: catnip flowers form a dense cylindrical inflorescence; the snakehead is spike-like, and the corolla is white or azure-violet; Melissa flowers are collected in the axils of inflorescences.
